Medal Of Honor Coming October 12th

The legendary first person shooter Medal Of Honor series has always been set in and around World War II (years 1939 to 1945).  That’s it.  EA just announced that October 12th, 2010 marks a complete reboot of the Medal of Honor franchise, bringing it into modern times.  So yes, it’s going to show it’s take on modern warfare.  The new game looks to be set in Afghanistan and parts of the Middle East.  Most of the trailers I’ve seen of the game include sand, caves, small huts, and camels.  It has to be the Middle East right, because why would they set a Medal of Honor game in Arizona? Medal of Honor couldn’t have timed this reboot to come at a better time.  Infinity Ward is having a falling out, Treyarch is making the next Call of Duty game (probably set in Vietnam), Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will have worn off, and we’ve got a lot of developers giving their own take on the modern warfare genre.  This means there will be competition going forward between developers.  The beneficiary for all of this?  That’s us.  The gamers. Première vidéo pour Call of Duty : Black Ops

A part ça ?

Holy Balls – Bungie Signs Publishing Deal with Activision

I hope you’re sitting down. According to a press release sent out this morning, Bungie has signed a 10 year exclusive publishing deal with Activision for their next big franchise. Given all the crap surround Activision’s handling of Infinity Ward, this is pretty surprising to say the least.

7 anciens d’Infinity Ward rejoignent Respawn Entertainment

Week in Loot Ninja – April 19th Edition

It was a rainy weekend here in New York. Friday night I discovered that my roof is leaking when water went from a drip to a steady stream from a light fixture in my kitchen ceiling. That about sums up my weekend.

Week in Loot Ninja – April 12th Edition

After a great sports weekend, it’s back to the grind this morning. Phil kicked ass at The Masters, the Rangers lost a playoff berth in a shootout, and the Yankees stomped the Rays, all while the Mets couldn’t put it together
