Aion releases first Eye on Community for February

Aion team member Tamat is back with the first Eye on Community for February , in which he answers player questions and talks a bit about what the developers have in store. This week’s player question was regarding the fort timer surveys from a while back, and Tamat revealed that they’ve finished looking over the surveys and will be changing the capture timer to an hour next week. Eye on Community lived up to its name by providing a pretty extensive community roundup this time, directing players to a handy application to monitor server status, a guide to a couple of bosses (Kratia and Harpback — if you’re having trouble with them this is the place to go),a look a one players first month in Aion , and a new reason to keep one eye on the skies in PvP.

Splosion Man Gets a Discount

If you take Chris’s word for it (and a lot of other people), Splosion Man is one of the best Xbox Live Arcade games of 2009. It was a great game at $10, but next week it’ll be 50% off and you’ll be able to grab the game for 400 Banana Bucks. That’s $5 in human money.

EverQuest II: Sentinel’s Fate opens up pre-orders

The latest expansion for EverQuest II , EverQuest II: Sentinel’s Fate , is slated for release in February both digitally and in retail, but why wait until then to pick up your copy? No, far better to pre-order the expansion and be ready for the day it launches — which, not coincidentally, is now an option. There are both Regular and Collector editions available, as is the standard for MMOs these days, and each one comes with its own little bonuses as well as the usual little extras for ordering ahead of time
