Rescheduled developer question-and-answer contest for City of Heroes

You may recall that a couple of days ago we announced a rather tantalizing deal for City of Heroes players, involving both a chance to win a free gaming mouse and the opportunity to ask the developers your questions. Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, the session was postponed, as the team found the formspring service didn’t quite have the capacity for what they were doing. We’re happy to say that after a very short turnaround time, the session has been re-arranged and put back on the schedule .

A Mild-Mannered Reporter: Questions versus answers, no holds barred!

We interrupt your regularly-scheduled guide to playing a spider for a number of questions and answers, and possibly several comic book sound effects! (Okay, it’s not exactly “interrupting” anything when I said that it would be here this week, but humor me.) As usual, the community has taken the opportunity to ask me a number of City of Heroes questions, and I have used my magical time-looker-forward tube to find the vast majority of the answers. So with that having been said, let’s get into the down and dirty, shall we? Superfan asked: ” Massively suspects the game has only 40,000 active subscibers right now?

WRUP: Seeing signs edition

If someone collected the data from many weeks of WRUP and charted what everyone played week in and week out there’s certain to be some sort of hidden message, isn’t there? Perhaps this random assortment of games, old and new, every week is only seemingly random, disguising an intricate pattern that will tell us the future… Hmm! But, pattern or not, Team Massively’s gaming habits are all over the map this weekend — just read on to see for yourself! This week we’ve also asked everyone a bonus question which comes again from commenter Blah?, who asked: If you could develop your own MMO, what would the setting be

Reminder: City of Heroes developer chat today

They’ve got an anniversary coming up, but no one can accuse the team over at Paragon Studios of resting on their laurels. The studio responsible for City of Heroes is hard at work on the next major content update, several anniversary celebrations, and they’re still stopping to reach out to their fans. In not very much time at all, it will be time for a live chat with the development team of City of Heroes via their forumspring.me page.
