LotRO UI implements Lua, preps for extreme makeover

In a new dev diary released yesterday on the European community website, Games System Engineer Narrel provided a glimpse into what began as the “pet project” of three developers and has now morphed into a full-fledged extreme makeover of the game’s user interface capabilities. Using the venerable and lightweight Lua scripting language, Narrel, Agiclaw, and ForsakenArcher are closing in on their stated goal of bringing extensive customization possibilities to LotRO’s UI

[Updated] If you cheat in Guild Wars, Dhuum will kill you

No, seriously. Guild Wars players hanging out in Heroes’ Ascent this afternoon noticed an interesting sight. Dhuum in all his giant shiny glory was popping in and out of different districts, banning people with a swing of his scythe.

Multi-boxing, on the other hand, is a much more ambiguous idea that has been common since as far back as the early days of EverQuest . EVE Online’s Scorpion to receive graphical overhaul in Tyrannis

When high-quality ship models were introduced with EVE Online ’s Trinity expansion, not every ship reacted to the graphical upgrade in the same way. Some ships, like the Megathron and Crusader, saw dramatic visual improvements with panel details and sharp lines. Review: CrimeCraft

Crimecraft has been the most difficult review I’ve had to do for Loot Ninja thus far – not because of conflicted feelings on the game, but because it happened to be the most bland and uninteresting game I’ve been asked to review.  Seriously, it’s been a painful one.
