Crafting is a strange subset of MMO play, when you think about it. For some folks, it’s incredibly important; for the rest, chances are they hardly think about it. It’s typically lacking the sort of interaction and feedback we get from combat, is a huge money and time sink, and usually offers less reward for more effort than raiding or other forms of loot acquisition

After a long, hard day of fighting off myriad things that are hell-bent on your destruction, it’s time to relax! Of course, if you’re lucky enough to know about it ahead of time, you can catch some great in-game events going on courtesy of Fallen Earth ’s numerous clans. Codemasters extends LotRO spring festival
Recently rated by the ESRB, it looks like the classic first person shooter Star Wars experience is coming to the PSN Network. Although my personal favorite is still Shadows of the Empire on the N64 with Dash Rendar, I’ll take any type of classic Star Wars action I can get. The story of Dark Forces follows Kyle Katarn, a mercenary employed by the Rebel Alliance. Before we meet up with Kyle in the game, he wants to follow his father into agricultural mechanics (sounds very similar to Luke’s story and moisture farming). He then hears of his parents death and enlists in the Imperial army (similar to Luke taking arms against the Empire). Later, Katarn learns of the real scheme behind his parents death and who is at fault: The evil Empire of course. He vows to avenge his parent’s death and becomes a mercenary for the Rebel scum. This is were Dark Forces picks up. Some have labeled Dark Forces as a DOOM clone, with both games using the same gaming engine, but Dark Forces separated itself by having great gameplay (at the time) and a little bit of Star Wars spice and atmosphere thrown in.

This is the Myst that doesn’t end, yes it goes on and on my friends… All jokes about the amazing resilience of Myst Online: URU Live aside, it appears that things are going well since Cyan Worlds brought the game back online. In a post on the official forums, it appears that the CAVCON (or Cavern Condition) is standing at 4 , which — unlike DEFCON — is a good thing
